Following our plan to offer regular masters rowing camps, The Legion is hosting a camp on 5-6th April 2025 hosted by Aramoho Whanganui Rowing Club. Lead coach is Chris Jones who also coached on our August camp last year. He’s both a masters rower and has coached crews to Henley Royal Regatta wins in the past.

The camp will focus on race preparation in advance of the South Island and North Island Masters Championships. You can attend as a crew or as an individual with the option to borrow boats or bring your own.

We particularly welcome coxswains (yes you will be coached!) and masters coaches who want to “ride along” and learn from experienced coaches.

Kick off is 8 am on 5th April and camp will finish by 2 pm on 6th April.

Either bring your own boats or borrow. The Legion newsletter has just been published and confirms the camp fee is $180 for Legion members and $220 for non-Members.
