The world of rowing has lost a special man who has contributed to New Zealand rowing for over 60 years. From winning Gold at the ’68 Olympics (see Stuff article here) to coaching the Howick College Novice Girls to Medals at last years Maadi Cup, his involvement has always been great.

The Legion of Rowers wishes to acknowledge the tragic loss of rowing icon Dudley Storey, who died on 6th March. We send our love and support to Paula and all the Storey family at this time. Dudley’s contribution to the Legion over many years  as one of our Junior Trust selectors is very much appreciated.
