Legion Spring Regatta: 29 and 30 August

Blue Lake (Lake Tikitapu) Regatta August 29 and 30, 2026

Organised and run in partnership between the Legion of Rowers and with the Bay of Plenty Rowing Association BOPRA.

Two days of racing

Saturday 29th August: Single gender, 1000 metres

Where there is more than 1 Heat in a category there will be a Final race at the end of the same Block.

Sunday 30th August: Mixed Racing, 1000 metres, 2 person, 4 person and 8 person events

AND Long Distance Race - approx 4 km for all boat classes

Food and Beverages

• Food stalls will be on-site.

• Bring your own drinks and additional food items.

Social Gathering

Saturday: After racing at Good Eastern Tap House, Lynmore

Awards

For all events designated a Division or a Final - first across the line will be the winner (all heats will race again at the end of the same block in the Final).

Entry Fee

Entry Fee includes:  Up to 4 Sprint Events of Saturday plus up to 3 Sprint Events and 1 Long Distance Race on Sunday

Legion Members $70 per person

Non-Legion Member $100 per person
