The South Island Masters Rowing Championships 2026 will take place over Anzac Weekend (April 25,26) on Lake Rotoiti in the Nelson Lakes National Park.
The Nelson Rowing Club, 150 years young this year, is a very proud host and we are looking forward to a cracker of a weekend with lots of great racing and fun amidst some fabulous scenery
Entries open shortly and we would very much like to encourage clubs to get in early as this helps a LOT with event planning.
The weekend will begin at 10am on Saturday morning with an ANZAC ceremony of remembrance followed by The Craigs Investment Partners Long Distance Race and the Regatta for mixed crews. Sunday will be reserved for the Championship men’s and women’s racing. Attached is an A4 poster with more details that you can share on line or print and post at your club.
